Just picked this up yesterday and already is greatly surpassing my expectations. I got the Juice Pack Plus (for iPhone 4/4S) over the Air due to the grippy finish encompassing the entire case. It fits so perfectly snug around the phone that it feels like one complete unit rather than just a case.
Once out of the box you can put it on your phone immediately or let it charge (which to fully charge it will take 2-3 hours). You can check the charge status by using the LED indication lights on the bottom of the case.
The case also channels the sound from the speaker on the bottom of the phone to the front, which is a welcome bonus.
Very handy using the battery backup on the go. If I see my charge dropping I can just flip the "stand by" switch to charge and it will begin charging the phone to capacity. This will be very useful when I do shows and events that keep me on the go and away from any outlets.
